Bio
I am currently working with Dr. Jacqueline Reber in pursuit of a master’s degree. In 2018 I received my B.S in geology and environmental science from Iowa State University. The goal of my research is to determine how the presence of a failing brittle phase effects fault behavior in semi-brittle regimes. To do this, I conduct analog experiments in a ring shear device using hydro-gel spheres (brittle phase) and Carbopol® (viscous phase).
