Congrats Haley!

Haley Bix defended her thesis titled, “The effect of size and shape of brittle clasts within a viscous matrix on deformation dynamics: A field and experimental approach.” Haley has continued ongoing research and experiments involving semi-brittle deformation within subduction mélange. By further optimizing the methodology involved, she has also helped decrease the duration of experiments, which will allow future students to be more efficient in the lab. Thanks for everything!
