The Structure Lab would like to congratulate Chris Ladd for successfully defending his Masters Thesis titled “An experimental analysis of force distribution in a two-phase system.” Chris has presented his work at AGU in 2019 and 2018, as well as the 2018 NC GSA Regional Meeting. Chris originally entered Iowa State in 2012 as an Engineering major but switched to geology. After successfully completing the Structural Geology course he has worked in the Structure Lab as an undergraduate researcher and eventually went on to be a distinguished Masters Student. Chris will be sticking around briefly to complete his publication and some further experiments. Great work, Chris! We look forward to hearing about all of your future accomplishments!
