I am a Master's candidate working with Dr. Jacqueline Reber. I earned my bachelor's in Geology from Carleton College in 2015 and served as a Minnesota Math Corps tutor for the 2015-2016 academic year. I use experimental methods and field observations to study the effect of grain characteristics on frictional behavior. My research is focused on granular mechanics. I study if and how the grain size distribution of fault material affects fault behavior.
